Indoor Gardening At Its Best

By Joyce Mitchell

The house is the perfect place for parents and children to relax. Babies are born and raised inside the confines of a residence. It really is a place where family finds comfort and peace. As a resident of earth, man has tried in many ways to emulate the grandeur of nature. Modern cramped homes make use of plant pots using draining planter technology.

Man is a creature of activities and in modern times this cannot be overemphasized. The daily grind or working to earn money to support the family results in tiredness. A person has to take time off to relax the body and the mind. Doing this will ensure long life. The best way to do this is to go back to basics, to where man came from, nature.

Inner city dwellings are absent large yards, both front and in the back. With the rapid advances in the transportation new technologies, the earth has become very tiny. Residences are constructed very proximate with one another it leaves no room for growing plant and other ornamental flowers. Even without ample spaces, a family still can engage in indoor gardening.

Interior flora and fauna is very soothing to the soul, the body, and the mind. This has been practiced even in ancient times in the deserts of Africa. It is no secret that humans are actually one with nature and that precisely is the explanation why despite the abuse man still yearns for the natural breath of fresh air, kaleidoscopic sight and melodious sounds.

For families living in cramped spaces there is still an opportunity to make the home attractive and relaxing by engaging in indoor gardening. Pots and various forms of containers are used to put plants in. The strategy is simple, add oxygen to the place by have plants planted in vases and pots equipped with a built in drainage system.

Early repositories were made of clay and mud. This is evidenced by archeological digs that brought up shards of early clay bins used to store grains and as cookery. Ancient technology made use of the potter wheel which spun using pedals. Mud clay was placed at the very center and the potter took care of shaping the item using bare hands.

There are plenty of plant repositories available in the market. It can be as tiny as a cup used to hold rare cactuses or as huge as bathtubs which can hold big palm trees. Different materials are used in its production. The most crude is made of rejected wool. Present living use those made of plastic or metal.

Making a hobby out of beautifying a home has enormous advantage. Not only is the hobby relaxing, it links the residents of the house directly with nature. Nothing beats the beauty of nature. In a way because man started its early days as a creature of nature, that link has never been severed even up to the present.

A stressed person is a volatile person. Individuals under stress are prone to react with haste. Hasty reactions often lead to unwanted altercations. Altercations leads to pain and pain lead to suffering. To keep a cool head communing with nature can work wonders even with simple plants in your own house. A plant will not talk back if you talk to it.
