When carrying out the exercise, there are chances that the the rodent will not be trapped. However, one can increase the chances of capturing by ensuring that the this trap is in the right position in order to reduce the chances of it being unset by any inside activity caused by the gopher.

Traps can be homemade or can be bought at a lower price. This helps one save the money and hustle that they could have incurred when trying to source for a professional company to take care of the issue.

After tracing the tunnel, the next important step is to dig and make a big hole in the opening in order to ensure that enough space has been created when setting up such a trick. When carrying out any of the activities it is advisable to ensure that the this type of rodent does not sense any noise since they have a good hearing.

When setting up this trick, it is prudent to ensure that the stake is at the bottom part and a handle is also fixed to ensure that this kind of trick is not carried away by the rodent. This helps in reducing the cost of purchasing a new one.

After setting up this this trick it is also necessary to cover the hole with a plastic or a cardboard. Despite the fact that gophers do not have a good sight, it is always a good idea to ensure that there is no light which is penetrating inside the hole since it may limit the chances of it coming to tour in the trap.

After ensuring everything is set, the next step is to wait. The rate at which the gopher is trapped depends on its activity. A checkup of 2 to 3 times a day is recommended in order to ensure that the gopher does not suffer much. In some instances one may miss to trap the rodent. This requires one to follow the same instructions but this time one must be careful.
